Il s'agit d'Alice et non de Mary

Les registres de l'Alwyn Anglican Church de Labelle pour le 22 mai 1900 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Thayer Buried 

Mary Shaver, wife of William Henry Thayer of the Township of Wright, Province of Quebec, died on the twenteth day of May Anno Domini nineteen hundred and was buried at Gracefield in the Country of St. James. Church on the twenty second day of the same month and year ; aged thirty one years and eight months

À la suite de cet acte, on peut lire l'annotation suivante :
«In the above entry the words "Mary" and "William Henry" must be substituted for the words "Alice" and Richard Edward"
