Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 7 juin 1836 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Bowman Buried 

Elizabeth Bowman aged one year and three months died on the sixth and was buried on the seventh of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty six.

Au bas de l'acte, on peut lire l'information suivante :

«NB the above mentioned child the parents names could not be obtained they going off by the Steamboat and left the child to be buried».
