Un meurtre à Québec

Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 25 septembre 1825 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«M^cCahy Buried 

William M^cCahy of the Parish of S^t. Foé in the District of Quebec Labourer aged twenty five years Who on the twenty second day of September was feloniously wilfully and maliciously shot wounded at St Foë aforesaid by one Charles Paradis of the said Parish yeoman by & with a certain gun charged with powder & shot against the body of the said William M^cCahy which occasioned his death on the twenty third Coroner's Warrant, and was buried on the twenty fifth of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five.
