Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 23 août 1821 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Armour Buried 

William Armour, a Native of Liverpool, in England, aged thirty eight years, Coroner's Warrant Who on the twenty second day of August Inst was accidentally drowned in the River St Lawrence, owing to the darkness of the Night, in going on Board the Ship Indian Trader now lyingate Irwing’s wharf & was buried on the twenty third of the same month in the same year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one
