Décédé d'une chute de cheval

Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 28 octobre 1838 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Adams Buried 

Samuel Adams, of the City of Quebec, Horse Trainer, Coroner's Warrant "whom the twenty six day of October instant at the Parish of Quebec, died from wounds accidentally received by falling from a horse", and was buried the twenty eight of the same month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight.

Ce décès rappelle le rôle important joué par le cheval à cette époque. Noter que le nom du défunt est souligné dans le texte de l'acte, une pratique assez courante dans les registres autres que catholiques.
