Un prisonnier de guerre exécuté comme espion à Québec

Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 20 mai 1814 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Gray Buried 

William Gray, of the State of Vermont, in the United States of America, farmer, prisoner of war, been apprehended as a spy, aged fifty five to sixty years, died May the nineteenth, and was buried May the twenty first in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
